FAQ - General & Prints

Where are you based, and do you travel?

I'm based in Ontario, Canada, but yes — I absolutely travel! Whether it’s a cute and cozy countryside session or a destination wedding, I’m always up for an adventure. Travel fees may apply depending on the location and distance.

How many photos will I receive?

It depends on the session! I always aim to deliver a generous selection of the best moments. For portrait sessions, you can expect a variety with the best images from your session.

For weddings, it ranges from 400 to 800+, depending on your coverage time.

How long does it take to receive my photos?

For regular sessions, you’ll receive your edited gallery within 2–3 weeks. Weddings typically take up to 90 days.

Your images will be delivered in an online gallery where you can download and share them.

Can I order prints through you?

As of right now, I don’t have a printer myself, but I can absolutely give options for print shops.

I do plan on having my own print shop later on, but for now, let me know which ones you want printed and I’ll help you get them done!

FAQ - Prep/Post

How should I dress for my session?

Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Neutral or earthy tones photograph beautifully, and coordinating colors (rather than matching) work great for couples or families. I’m happy to send over some colour schemes/examples to help you plan outfits if you’re unsure!

Can I bring props or outfits changes?

If time allows, absolutely! Props can add a personal touch to your session, and I always encourage outfit changes — especially for longer sessions. Just let me know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If we're planning an outdoor session and the weather isn't cooperating, we can reschedule (if I'm available) or switch to an indoor location (if given enough time to find one).

I always leave a bit of flexibility for Mother Nature - but if you don't mind a bit of rain, we don't have to change anything!

Do you help with location planning?

Definitely! I love helping find the perfect spot that suits your vibe. Whether you're into fields, forests, or urban backdrops, I’ll offer suggestions based on your style and what’s available seasonally.

If you have a location in mind, let me know! I'd be more than happy to take a look at your ideas for the session.

Can I bring my pet to our session?

Yes, please — I’m always excited to include furry friends in your photos! Just let me know in advance so I can prep accordingly to ensure our location allows pets (and to bring a few treats!).

FAQ - Wedding

Do you offer engagement sessions with your wedding packages?

Yes - engagement sessions are included in my Signature wedding package or can be added on separately for my Classic wedding package.

They're a great way for us to connect and get comfortable before your big day!

Do you shoot alone or with a second shooter?

Most sessions are captured by me alone. However, for larger weddings or if you’d like extra coverage, a second photographer can be added to your package.

FAQ - Booking & Payment

How do I book a session with you?

Booking is easy! Just reach out through my contact form or email me directly at kloi_photography@outlook.com with the details of your session or wedding. Once we chat, and confirm availability, I'll send over a contract and invoice to secure your date.

How far in advance should I book?

For weddings, I recommend booking 6-12 months in advance, especially for popular dates.

Portrait sessions can usually be booked 1-2 months ahead depending on the season.

The more ahead you book, the more likely you'll have the day you want!

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a non-refundable deposit is required to officially reserve your date.

The remaining balance is typically due 2 weeks before your session or 30 days before your wedding.
